its possible, however clear coat may be an issue. i have found a clear coat that doesn't make the sharpie run but it is can base and im not sure how durable it is, and the finish is not super gloss. there may be a possibility of the canned clearcoat then reclear coated by an auto body shop.
Also the car might look good only partially sharpied, so maybe slanted pin stripe going from the rear window to bottom of front bumper separating the normal color of the car with the sharpied part.
Price wise would be probably around $2000 for an entire car, $1000 for a partial... if your interested this would be something i could do anytime starting in the summer, and i could draw examples of what i mean by the partial. theres actualy some graphics ive designed for cars in my albums from forza2.
